the room was a bit noisy. yet the multiuse lobby was fantastic for relaxing or grabbing a drink. the rooftop restaurant offered stunning views and delicious food. also, the gym was spacious and well-equipped.

The contemporary design of Santa Monica Proper Hotel is truly remarkable, with every corner a feast for the eyes. The rooftop restaurant provides a unique dining experience with stunning ocean views, and the gym surpassed my expectations, allowing for a productive workout while traveling. The service was generally excellent, with a prompt recovery of a lost wallet, alleviating potential stress.

The overall dining experience felt a bit overpriced, especially with the first night’s rate marking a significant jump.

Just had the best honeymoon at this gorgeous spot! They surprised us with champagne and chocolates—what a treat! Late checkout was a lifesaver for our 11pm flight. I could get used to this!

Funny how the room service could serve a wilted salad faster than my waiter took to figure out our order. If I wanted a sad dinner, I’d have just raided my fridge!

I had an amazing stay with spacious rooms, especially the large bathroom, and loved the rooftop bar's bustling atmosphere. The gym was fantastic, with lots of natural light and top-notch equipment, and the welcoming staff made my experience even better. One downside was the occasional noise from outside that disrupted the peaceful ambiance at times.

Great comfy bed and friendly staff. Limited publicity for Friday DJ, nobody showed up.

Amazing staff, amazing food, with exceptional restaurant and pool areas that made our stay truly enjoyable. It’s only a 10-minute walk to Downtown Santa Monica.
